im so worried and upset. my 5 yo chihuahua has had a small bump in his head since he was around 1 yr he hit his head while playing under the table, but cant say for sure that had anything to do with it my previous vet said it was a little cyst and no big deal. new vet now says its getting bigger and has to be removed. hes pretty confident its a fatty tumor, but may want to do a biopsy. hes scheduled for surgery next friday. im devestated! im sick with worry its something serious

@Pixie26: I am so sorry to hear that. The good thing is fatty tumors are easily removed. One of my chis (I have 4) had to have one removed from his eye lid. He came home the same day and healed with in days.
I would definitely have it sent out for pathology, you really can not be safe enough. Chi’s in general are sensitive and things escalate quickly within their little bodies. Always better safe then sorry. It is probbaly ok though. Just give your love bug lots of extra cuddles between now and then.
My heart goes out to you and your little man <3

@SparkleBee11: im glad to hear the healing time is relatively fast. I feel awful putting him through this. im thankful though that my mom is retired and will be able to take care of him while im at work. so he will get plenty of attention and cuddles all day
