Sometimes they are included in a sand ceremony or water ceremony if you choose to do one, my friends daughter did that and they also gave her a special necklace during the ceremony… nothing complex, pouring a little cup of sand or water into a glass she should be ok…though I dont agree with sand art at a wedding… it might be safer than water with a 3yr old!

I was at a wedding where both the mom & dad said vows to each other & then to their daughter. The dad even had a ring for the daughter. It was really special to see.

I think the sand ceremony would be really cute with her! I would just make sure the vase isn’t very narrow…. little ones don’t have as good of aim as we do. I’ve also seen people give their children some sort of jewelry (necklace or bracelet) to represent their commitment to them.
