@Kath10:  I think you are worrying too much. I think it’s fair and reasonable to include the sister as they are from out of town. Your other bridesmaids aren’t.

@Kath10:  They acknowledge it is your day, and you ultimately have the say, so if they get pissed off about it later on too bad. They already knew what your intentions were because you have clearly already told them. It sucks, but it is what it is.

It is perfectly reasonable to only allow out of town children to attend. Parents understand not wanting strangers to watch your children. Additionally, most parents welcome the night without the kids to be adults, have some wine, chat with old friends and dance.
