At first I thought I wanted no children, aside from our ring bearer, invited. Now I’m thinking how adorable they will be and that I think I do want to invite children! I haven’t even completed the guest list yet.
There are lots of younger children in my fiances family, but none in mine! I was just going to skip the entire flower girl situation.
Now I think I want them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did you have kids in your wedding party or not? If you didn’t, did you feel like you missed out?
I cannot decide!

I WISH we had a super adorable flower girl. But, on my FI’s side of the family, there is only ONE little boy (or ring bearer, his nephew), and no little girls yet. On MY side of the family, I asked my cousin if her daughter could be our flower girl, but the expense of flying the whole family out, plus that daughter has a handicap, she said would make it too unpredictable and stressful to deal with.
So, no cute little flower girl for us. What can you do? You can’t make them appear out of thin air unfortunately

I think the children issue really depends on the bride and groom. I have seen people only allow children that are in your bridal party. I guess that won’t work if those children have siblings?
To answer your question, we most absolutely will have children at our wedding. But then we both love kids and do not feel that they ruin the party. I strongly believe kids make parties more fun!And frankly, until I’ve been to American Weddings I’ve never heard of kids being excluded at weddings. Chinese weddings never exclude kids…at least not in my family.
We will have 3 flower girls (6, 3 & 1) and 2 ring bearers (6 & 3). All are our adorable super cute niece & nephews. I know it’s uneven but I don’t care I want them all to be a part of the wedding.
