I chopped mine off on halloween - I have been growing it long for the last 5 years or so (but always keeping it like 2-3 inches past the shoulder) funny thing, mr. junebride prefers my hair short! - before I did chop it, I made sure to find the perfect wedding hair style for above the shoulder looks...here's what I came up with:

These are the inspiration pics that I have found. And I like them enough that I think I'm going to go for it and chop my hair off! Soft curls with a side part and flower hair clip will work, whether my hair is long or short. And I like that I can still have a veil if I decide to.

Great inspiration pics! As another short-haired girl, I find it soooo frustrating that bridal mags don't show more ideas for short hair.

I voiced my frustration at trying to grow out my hair when i hate it in the lounge, and am thinking about becoming a short hair bride. I'd probably go about chin to shoulder length, no shorter and no bangs. I would not attempt an updo, might use flowers or a longer veil.
So I need inspiration. I have searched and haven't seem much that is really close to what I want to do. I'm aiming for a softer look, with relaxed curls or straight hair. Did anyone pull off something close to this for their wedding, or spot anything out there while searching?
I'd love to find a style I love so I can just chop it off already!
I grew my hair for my father's wedding two years ago. I hated the process, and I ended up hating how my hairstyle turned out. I'll probably never grow my hair past my shoulders again, so I'm starting to feel that the reasoning for growing it out is faulty. Except that FI prefers it long.
