ETA: Now that I think about it, I'm not so sure. I bought these chocolate covered bacon & potato chip cluster things thinking they'd be awesome and they were actually pretty terrible. It took us like a week to finish them since we paid $5 a piece and refused to throw them away. Lol
Pretzels and chocolate are a win in my book. But the bacon not so much. Most people I know try to eat healthy and bacon just doesn't fit in that category.

I've heard of this but never tried it....I didn't vote because I don't really know how I feel about it but it IS interesting!
I came across them under "also available" on an etsy store and wondering if they are TOO out there.
i have made chocklate cupcakes with a ganache and sprinkled bacon crumbs on top and they were amazing im now going to add some pretzel sprinkles too!!!
Ooooh, try making pig candy... basically bacon cooked crisp with a ton of brown sugar on it. Hardens like a brittle, and you can drizzle or dunk in chocolate.
I first heard about it from the Sweet Potato Queens' Book of Love, but apparently it's really popular all over!
I gave a conditional vote for MMM BACON, the condition being how the bacon is executed. If it were involved in small but flavorful doses, kind of like bacon "sprinkles", then yes. If it were actually wrapped around the pretzel before being dipped in chocolate, then no, bacon overkill.
Although this thread is making me want to wrap some sizzling bacon around a warm doughy jumbo pretzel and go to town on that bad boy...
Does not sound very tasty....however I would love to get chocolate covered pretzels as a favor!
I heard these are really good... I am a little weirded out by them, just because Im like that. But I will try anything once. But I would say I wouldnt have something so 50/50 for a favor you dont want half or more of your guests to hate your favors or be afraid to try them etc. lol
I think chocolate covered pretzels are always a winner, and while personally I think bacon would be really cool (if maple glazed and crunchy) it might not be for everyone.
I'd probably have the bacon in a separate baggie with a little sign: "Feeling adventurous? Try these with bacon!"
