Wherever you go, they will be really really expensive. Have you maybe thought the DIY route?
Yeah I definitely thought of DIY but I know I won't have the time and energy, I'm not even taking off any days to get married.
Unless we find somewhere that is like 2-3 dollars each, we'll probably just opt for cupcakes as the passed 2nd dessert option during our wedding....
Thanks tho!
I just know that when I buy choc covered strawberries, depending on how large they are, just one can range from 5-11 dollars.
Seeing that your wedding is in the spring/summer, have you considered buying sugar cookies? I think these are adorable and can get them done in any theme you want

oh pretty! yeah, the venue is already serving this springy sugar cookies with dessert.... and a chocolate molten cake for dessert... so thus thinking something fruit-y for 2nd dessert? thanks tho!! yeah looks like the strawberries aren't going to work =(
If your venue charges $10.00 per person for chocolate covered strawberries, I'd double check your contract and make sure you're allowed to even bring in outside food.
Yeah I checked and they said I could bring in inside food.. however they are offering $500 for it which I think is pretty darn reasonable for 200 guests. A lot better than I expected!
Have you thought about bulk ordering them from Costco? I feel like you can order them online too...
EDIT: I just found this website that would be less than what the venue charges you...
Thanks everyone! We decided just to go with the venue and thus not have to worry about getting them from an outside source...
