Hi fellow brides and brides to be,

Are Chocolate Fountains and Beverage Fountains out of fashion? If not, does anyone have any soures to obtain them for a reasonable price?

    Thanks so much!

    Sara

I don't think they are out of fashion (I think many people havn't yet experienced them still) but from someone who used to work with a caterer -- they are DREADFUL! Chocolate is likely to get EVERYWHERE (no matter how careful guests are) and it is the worst to clean. I would think twice just because I've experience it first hand and wouldn't wish a fountain on my enemy.

That being said, if your heart is set on it, go for it!

I think you should make this a poll.  I vote out of style.  Just imagine...your flower girl comes plowing toward you....with chocolate hands!!  *faints*

We are having one.  I love chocolate.  Ours is pretty expensive though. We are payin $500 for 3 hours.  My cousing and his FI are paying $300 for 2 hours.

I bought one for $45 on eBay. It might need to be refilled a few times in the course of the evening, but I'd rather do that than pay several hundred dollars for a rental.

I'm not really concerned about whether it is in style. We are older, and so are our friends, so most of them will not have been to a wedding in a long time.

2dBride- I would have done the same but since we are having our wedding in a restaurant they wouldn't let us bring one in.

I say if you're venue doens't mind but one on e-bay.  I'm all about saving mula so do it where you can.
