Hello ladies!! I’m having a hard time tossing up between two pairs of lovely, but very different shoes.
My dress is the ODLR 12e04
The first is the Valentino bow pump (as seen here with the same dress on a gorgeous bride!)- this is also available in white lace though I would prefer the nude patent as it would be easier to get use out of in the future!
The second the jimmy choo Faymes in white satin and glitter:
I already own a pair of the valentinos in black patent and they fit amazingly! (So I know my size) whereas the choos aren’t available where I am to try on and i’d be ordering them blind…
The height on the valentinos work well with my dress 🙂 The dress is difficult to shorten due to the lace detail on the bottom but with these on, I’m JUST tall enough!
The Choos are marginally lower than the Valentino’s I think but they’re just so PRETTY!
Lastly… I’d really like to be able to use my wedding shoes again after wearing them for just 1 day…

@Crystal_Dreams: I’m pretty sure you’ve spelled out quite an argument for the Valentinos here!

@Crystal_Dreams: Oh goodness those Choos made me go “oooohhhhhh.”

@Crystal_Dreams: comfort and versatility are the benefits for any shoe imo. valentino is a winner for me.

Your dress is gorgeous! The Choos are perfect for it!

I definitely prefer the Valentinos and I was a Choo bride! LOL

The Choos. The dress is absolutely stunning, just gorgeous. I just feel that it has enough interest down by the hemline all on it’s own and that the bow is a little too much .

@Crystal_Dreams: I absolutely love the Choos, but for the reasons you mentioned, it sounds like Valentino is more practical for you. I voted Valentino!

IMO, Choos are GORGEOUS. Valentinos.. eh

Valentino! I wore the same pair but in light pink! super comfortable!

Jimmy Choos, no question.

I LOVE the Valentino as a more “regular” shoe. Obviously it’s special occasion, but I don’t feel the nude to be bridal. The Choos are more bridal in my opinion. Maybe the Valentinos in a pink?

I don’t think the nude reads as “bridal” at all. They look too heavy and too casual for a wedding.
Choos all the way.

@Crystal_Dreams: Comfort is of utmost importance and style is a close second…so I’d go with the ones that are most comfortable for you because I think both styles are amazing!
