I’m new to the community but have already become HOOKED. We’re currently choosing between two different venues that are roughly around the same cost. The catch, however, is that venue #1 only provides the tables, chairs, and tablecloths. Venue #2 does provide the plates, barware, glasses, silverware, and napkins too. In your experience, is it that much easier to go with a venue that already provides these items or was it not really a hassle for you to rent these through your catering company?

If glassware and silverware are really the only differences, I’d say it doesn’t matter. Your caterer will definitely be able to supply those, albeit at a cost. If you love them both equally, just go with the one that offers that stuff already, since it’s included in the price.

With all the things I’ve had to juggle during wedding planning, I am grateful I chose a very inclusive wedding venue. Unless you really like venue number one more, save yourself another decision and go with number two.
