We're using "How He Loves Us" by Jesus Culture (though that's not as traditional a song) and "The Blessing" by John Waller
Steven Curtis Chapman has a whole CD of songs about love. You might try that!
Mark Schultz has "walking her home"-not sure what style you're going for. It's a nice song!

You should listen to "Love is not a fight" by Warren Barfield. This song has been sung at two wedding's I've been to this fall. It's in the movie "Fireproof" (which I haven't seen) and it's very touching.
Matt Maher's "Set me as a seal." He's new to the CCM scene (Your Grace is Enough and Alive Again) but he's been around a long time and the song is on his previous label. You can hear it and see the lyrics at the website below. You can also buy the song on his iTunes store.
The song is based on the "Song of Songs."
It is kind of old school but I love "I will be Here" by Stephen Curtis Chapman.
I wish I could find the instrumental version of Toby Mac's City On Our Knees. The music itself is beautiful.
Two songs we're planning on using somewhere in our wedding are Matthew West's- When I Say I Do- My FI found it and sang it in the car the other day. I cried and knew we had to use it somewhere. and When God Made You by NewSong. Another Great song we're planning on being sung as well during the ceremony.
I will Be Here by Steven Curtis Chapman is also another good one.

We are Man and Wife was my favorite...I'm pretty sure it's Christian.
I was gonna say, "How He Loves Us" but someone beat me to it! That song is amazing. We're definitely using it in our wedding.
One of my favorites is "By Your Side" by Tenth Avenue North. My fiance and I will probably be using it as our first dance song. It's absolutely beautiful.

I think I am walking down the aisle to a live accoustic version "your name" - I am working with some guys on the worship team to put something together.. I really want to come down right after the electric guitar solo. :)
For some worship I think we are having the band play, In christ alone.. and another song.. not sure yet. Maybe "Love came down" by Ben Cantelon

Brandon Heath just came out with a new song..."Love Never Fails." It is so good. I think we will be using it for the lighting of our Unity Candle. I am going to have my cousin play it on the guitar and sing. I was also thinking of "Unfailing Love" by Chris Tomlin.

Oh yes, and I totally agree with the Brandon Heath "Love Never Fails" song. We are definitely using that as well.
Matthew West has some AWESOME love songs!!!! One in particular is "The Day Before You." Another suggestion would be to just go to his page on iTunes or wherever you can pull up his songs and just go through them to see which ones you like. I know this has already been mentioned but Brandon Heath's "Love Never Fails" is an excellent wedding song as well as "Closer to Love" from Mat Kearney. Congratulations! :-)

Recessional: "Slide" by the Goo Goo Dolls or maybe "Something Beautiful" by Needtobreathe
We are using "God gave me you" by Dave Barnes in the slide show.
Another vote for "Love Never Fails." I don't know someone who can play the guitar, unfortunately, but my cousin is singing it with a track during the ceremony. I knew I wanted that as a wedding song when I got the CD many months ago.
I would suggest Chris Rice, especially those from his last few albums. Though Living Room Sessions has some great arrangments of hymns that we were considering.
Steven Curtis Chapman's All About Love Album is great. Great Adventure is an orchestral piece composed and performed by him. "Cinderella" is also a great song for Father-Daughter Dance.
We are using, "Your Love is Extravagant" by Casting Crowns for the Unity Candle, "Come and Listen" by David Crowder for communion, my bridesmaids are walking down to "Divine Romance" by Phil Wickham, and I'm walking down to "All the Heavens" by Third Day.

I would consider them more Christian rock than "contemporary Christian" but Spoken has a really good song "You're the One". (It's kind of "our song" for me and my bf.) "Head Over Heels (In This Life)" by Switchfoot is good too.
I am walking down the idle to "Agnus Dei" instrumental. My brother is playing it on the piano as I walk down.

Hello!
My fiance and I have decided to use Christian contemporary music for the ceremony. Does anyone have any good song ideas? My best friend walked down to Bethany Dillon's "For My Love," and it was beautiful and so fitting. But of course, I can't copy that! :)
