Hi there,  

I'm looking to purchase Louboutin evening sandals for our wedding, and I've made trips to Saks, Nordstroms, and Bloomingdales with no luck on trying on shoes for size. 

I hear that Louboutins are known to have erratic sizing, but I'm hoping one of you can help. The shoes I'm looking at are evening sandals (straps, not pumps), about 3.5 inches high. I believe they are satin and leather material.

Any clues on what size I should be ordering? They have an exchange policy, but I'm hoping to go through less hassle by asking for advice by those in the know. :)  I'm a size 6.5-7 normally. I'm thinking of ordering the 7, but I wanted to ask first.

It's strange that Saks doesn't have Louboutins to try on for sizing. I would also recommend Barneys or Bergdorff if there is one near.

In my experience, Louboutin sizing depends on the shoe. I have both sizes 37.5 and 38, though normally I am a 7.5. For strappy sandals though, you have more room for error, so a 6.5 should be fine for you.

i thought so too! they have louboutins online, so i figured i could head out there to try on for size. i went to the one at south coast plaza in orange county (southern california). nordstroms said to try neiman marcus so i will stop by there sometime this week. thanks for the info! :)

Neiman Marcus carries Louboutins.  I tend to round up (in your case, I would try size 7) since I think in general, they run small.
