i do photos almost every year- the 1 year i didnt and it caused a stink! lol do the photos!!! Costco, walgreens and snapfish have awesome deals too- ends up being cheaper then fancy cards
I love them! and I love doing them! I was debating doing them this year or not.
I love getting them because it gives me pictures to update my fridge with. I put all my wedding thank you cards with pictures on it and my christmas ones too.
I was debating doing a christmas letter this year.... but I am not too sure about it.
I LOVE photo cards and look forward to getting them every year. We are sending out cards with our E-pics this year.
I love photos, they always get put on the fridge and stay there until one of the cats manages to get a hold of it and it becomes lost in the picture grave yard under the fridge or stuck between stove and fridge.
I love photo cards too. We aren't doing one this year, but we usually do.
I prefer generic pretty cards with a heartfelt message inside. Not to say that I don't like updated pictures but I've never gotten into the photo Christmas card thing. I'd rather have a recent picture that is enclosed in the card that makes for less awkward storing/displaying (if you want it on the fridge or in an album).
We always did pictures before kids. We were those geeks who would take a picture with our pup :)
I love picture cards! I never had a problem with them when I was single (but I completely understand the nerve they can hit for some singles), and really liked hanging them on my fridge. Christmas photo cards are really the only printed pictures I have of friends since I rarely get photos printed.

I really want to do Christmas cards this year. I think I've skipped doing them the last two years... and while it freed up a ton of time, it's time to step up to the plate!
So, here's my debate: regular generic card or personalized photo card.
I'd be writing a personal message in each... so, it's not a matter of just wanting a blank card to send - I guess I'm trying to figure out if it's odd to send a card with a photo.
I know I enjoy seeing pictures of my friends - but, since it's just me and DH, it's not like we have kids to share, etc.... also, I know some of my single friends really hate seeing pictures of couples and families (since it highlights the fact that they are single).
Granted... I can't even think of what pictures I would use for cards...but I'm curious what your thoughts are on them!
