Oh wow, how annoying!! Sorry that happened 🙁 What a loudmouth sister. You should announce something about her, like the fact that she has Hepetitis C.

Wow, how rude. At the second one, I would have lost my mind. I would have waited a beat and then said “And I have an announcement too. Sis is entering rehab for her alcohol problems. We’re so grateful and supportive.”

But then again, I am kind of a jerk.

Wow that sucks. When you do get engaged and are planning be sure to tell the bartender not to let the sister drink 🙂

I’m so sorry! But look at the bright side, she said it while you were there. You could fend off any questions! Just think if she had said it while you weren’t there.

Geesh, someone doesn’t know how to hold their booze mouth closed.  This must have been really frustrating, especially if your guy wasn’t saying anything to shut her up.  It’s a fine line to walk sometimes though, because you know that this person will be your sister in law for the rest of your life.  Hopefully you get along with her when she is sober..

Wow, that’s messed up.  I wuld have loved to come back with a rude retort like some of the ladies suggested (and I cracked up at those, haha), but in the end my response would have been the same as yours.  Is she always that way when she drinks?  I’m sorry! Heh.

You shouldn’t be embarassed for her ridiculousness. If you guys live together, I think it’s expected an e-ring is somewhat on the way, anyways! That sis is crazy and has zero manners.

lol @ MissACS – that would have been hilarious to say that! 🙂

His sister sounds like a big-time trouble-maker. She must just be so bored with her own life, that she feels the need to stir up everyone else’s.
