I got my husband tickets to see one of his favorite comedians who will be in our area in February. Would your husband enjoy tickets to a concert or show of some sort? (I know you said no sports tickets...but this is kinda different.)
What about a customized cover for his iPad? You could check out Etsy!
Thank you for the ideas. I don't think either one will work...
@Gemstone: I looked and didn't see anything good coming up. We do go to comedy shows and concerts quite a bit, so we are always looking to fill our "ticket basket" that sits on our fridge. But lately nothing has really interested us.
@HisToots: He has a cover for it that he loves.
AHHHHH!!! He is impossible!!!!!!!!!!!
He get's sport magazines already...What about a beer connoisseur magazine subscription? https://www.beerconnoisseur.com/catalog
How about a beer of the month club? I did a quick google search for it and found a lot of different websites that do that. With the $75 limit, you wouldn't be able to do one that is year round, but you can get 2-3 months out of that.
What about a season of a tv show not on netflix? Soemthing to memorialize you time together before becoming parents? A 'last hurrah' gift of going out for a fancy dinner or something else that might be hard to do after the baby comes?
you could do an itunes gift card, since I think you can use them to buy new apps for iphones/ipads, but maybe that is lame??
i like the beer club of the month idea, but $75 wouldn't get you very far... a variation on that idea would be to go to a wine/beer store that sells individual bottles and buy all different kinds for him to try and put it in a huge basket with some snacks that go with beer (Utz mix, chex mix, something homemade?)... that is still different enough from the home brewing kit, I think...
The only other thing I can think of is cologne. Hope you figure something out! :)
What about things to go along with the brewing kit? My BIL and Sister brew their own, there a lot of things they need for each batch. This way he could get at it right away? My FI is the same way. But it's harder because his birthday is tomorrow and then Christmas the following weekend!

He is impossible to shop for! And we set a limit (under $75-ish). His family always asks for ideas and he struggles to give them any. Now there is NOTHING left for me to get!!! I need HELP!!
He plays basketball and golf, but has clothing, etc. for both. He likes beer (SIL is getting him a home brewing kit), sports (We go to enough games that tickets to yet another one won't be a big deal), technology-type stuff (has an iphone, ipad, etc.).
He likes working out, but already has a recumbant bike, treadmill, and weights. He likes cooking but complains we have far too many kitchen appliances and pans. I have gotten him many guy-themed (grilling, etc) cookbooks in the past.
He doesn't enjoy reading, we have Netflix, he won't wear a watch or any other jewelry, he hates getting new clothes. He gets sports-related magazines in the mail already.
Could this possibly be more difficult?? And when I ask him for ideas, he says "All I want for Christmas is you." GRRRRRRR.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
