Hey everyone so I’m one of those early thinkers and I like to plan my christmas gifts early. For the adults (my siblings) I’m doing couple gifts. Then I’m going to put it in an envelope then have each couple chose an envelope. Whatever they open is what they get. I have a date night (two movie tickets, gift card for dinner and free babysitting), a couple’s massage (a one hour massage with choc. covered strawberries, free babysitting) and I need one more but I can’t think of anything good enough. I NEED HELP!!!!!! Also is this a good idea? All the married couples or soon to be married couples out there would you like this for Christmas

Maybe the third thing could involve a restaurant? The only thing I would change is the “pick an envelope” thing. You don’t want to have anyone feel disappointed when they see the other couple open up something they liked more! I’d just try to figure out who would like what the best and give it to them specifically.

One other though I had was a winery tasting or brewery tour depending on what is in your area. I think that sounds like a great idea!

@Juliepants: I thought of that but since during christmas we all open our gifts together I figured they couldnt get mad at me if it wasnt assigned ya know what I mean. Everything is going to come out to the same price we are being careful on that. I just think that somebody would get more upset and think im favoring someone more if I gave one to one and not the other. I mean they could always switch…

Sure they can get mad at you if theyre not assigned. By not assigning them, you take the thought out of it. You should assign them, or make all three gifts identical.

Wine tasting would be nice!
I’m with “give it specifically to someone” though. If someone looks really excited about someone else’s gift, then you know what to get them next year. 🙂
I’ve already started Jul gifts also; I always want to do handmade gifts but I always wait too late and then don’t have time, so I’m already knitting liike a crazy woman. I’ve got yarn to dye this weekend too.
