Oh I totally agree!!! I love Christmas and would definitely watch Christmas movies out of season. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is one of my favorites.

omg I love christmas movies any time of the year. My absolute favorites are christmas vacation, elf, miracle on 34th street (original), a christmas story, home alone, and bad santa. i'm a total dork about christmas!
I try to restrain myself, since "saving" Christmas movies for Christmas time makes them a bit more special, but I'm not gonna lie -- if I'm having a bad day, "Elf" and "Muppet Christmas Carol" will cheer me right up.
I'm also guilty of listening to Christmas music on my iPod when I'm feeling down -- in college and grad school I used to listen to Charlie Brown Christmas on repeat when studing for endless hours in the library.
elf might be my favorite movie of all time. it's my go-to flick for whenever I have a down day.
I tend not to like "traditional" Christmas movies. Every year on Christmas Eve, my sister and I watch Home Alone and Gremlins ;o) They both have Christmas in them!
Lol. I love watching You've Got Mail for the Christmas part. And Harry Potter.
And other ones, but yeah. I pretty much just love movies. :p
I love love love love love Christmas movies. I've been feeling blah lately too (and today it hard) and it's funny bc I started listening to Christmas music.

I'm sick (waaaaaaaaah!) and I really wanted to watch Christmas movies last night and Fred Claus was on. I woke up ten hours later.
So much for that.
We picked up The Proposal today so I can lay in bed and be gross and wish I looked like Sandra.
omg i was watching christmas movies allll last week...around this time in october, midterms arrive (eek!) so i always escape with some holiday cheer!!

christmas vacation, the santa clause, elf, home alone, a christmas story, love actually and the stepmom (christmas at the end!)
i'm so desperate for christmas that sometimes i watch QVC because they're always selling christmas lights and whatnot. i'm a dork.
It snowed in MN a couple days ago, and was definitely cold enough to snow this past weekend when I went home to visit my parents... who were listening to Christmas music.
ooooooh yeah, Bellini - Love Actually and A Christmas Story are my favorites!!! I might have to watch Love Actually tonight!

I love Christmas movies. If you haven't checked out Patrick Stewart's version of "A Christmas Carol", I HIGHLY recommend that you do. Pure gold!
Other than that, there's a special from forever ago called "Muppet Family Christmas" that incorporates all branches of Muppets, including the Fraggles! I haven't found it on DVD yet, but you can see it in five parts on youtube.
Oh yeah! Love Actually is awesome! I watch A Christmas on Netflix streaming all the freaking time. :p
I've been known to do that. But I do have to say that October makes more sense than the middle of July when I've seen marathons of Xmas movies and tv episodes played on various cable channels. Then again, I can listen to Christmas music year round so the movies aren't that much different.

I admit - this might be me! I love Christmas movies. As a matter of fact, the time leading up to Christmas is more exciting than Christmas itself! I usually wait until after Halloween, but then I faithfully haul of "Muppet's Family Christmas" each year. Fozzie visiting Mrs. Bear at the farmhouse with all his friends? Hilarity ensues!
I also love National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Acutally, my fiance just admitted to me this past year that he has NEVER SEEN IT. (*insert jaw drop here). You can bet what movie we will be watching this Christmas!

Yes, and Christmas music!! Some radio station did Christmas in July a few years ago, and I didn't know about it....turned the radio on and Christmas music was playing on a hot summer day haha.... it made my day!
I've really been wanting to was Love Actually lately, but I've been trying to hold off so I don't go and watch all the Christmas movies before Thanksgiving.....I might give in and watch that one though ; )
All time favorite: A Christmas Story.....my sister and I used to watch the 24 hour marathons on christmas.
I love watching Christmas movies! Home Alone is my all-time favorite, but Elf is a close second.

I watch Little Women (1994) all year round, no joke! I just love it... I especially love the music. Not technically a Christmas movie i guess, but it sure was heavily marketed that way.

So I've been a little off-and-on "meh" these past few days, along with a little cold.
Now I'm watching Christmas movies like a total dork. Anybody else do that? I love watching them when I'm down-and-out and feel like a movie-version of a hug. :p
