I think it is totally fine, lots of people send out picture cards for Christmas.

Hmmm…I don’t think it’s narcissitic..I love looking at photos though..but almost every christmas card our family got growing up included a photo of the family and dogs if they had any..I say go for it!

My fiance’s sister does this with her boyfriend (of 8 years so he is pretty much family) and I think it’s super cute. I will probably not do it this year but next year, after we get married, I would definitely go this!

I’d say about half the photo cards I get don’t have any kids in them (but there are lots of adorable dogs!) and I never think anything weird of it. I love cute holiday pictures. Go for it!

My BFF has been sending out photo cards for a couple years now, before her and her SO were even engaged.  My cousin and her hubs also send out a collage type photo card, usually of their travels that year.  They just had a baby on Thursday, so she’ll be a part of that now.

I say go for it!  Funny thing is, I was just thinking about that today, but unfortunately, DH and I haven’t taken a lot of great photo’s this year.  I might just do a cheesy Christmas one in front of the tree…

I’m not a child enthusiast so I would much rather get a holiday card of your dog than your kids.  just saying 😉

Most of the cards we get from our friends are just of the couple and their pets because none of our friends have kids, (that’s about to change).  I think this is totally fine!  Our card this year will of DH and I and our pets.  And if we didn’t have pets it would be of just us.

We did the wedding photo last year and DH said he wanted to do photo cards again this year so you and I will be in the same boat if you decide to. I felt the same way you did though so I’m glad to hear that other people don’t think it’s weird lol.

Not everyone has kids, but they still send out cards.  We get lots of cards from couples.  We have a lovely neighbor who was child free by choice and she always sends really cool cards of her on her travels. But it can be you and your pet, too.

We started to send out photo cards before we were engaged. I think they’re fun and people always like photos.

I think it’d be adorable to send out a picture with your dog! I’m a sucker for family portraits with pets though.

DH and I were thinking about doing the same with our 2 cats and just taking the cheesiest picture possible. Hopefully, people will just shake their heads when they get it and think we’re silly as opposed to narcissistic. 🙂
