Are there any other brides who've had or are having a Christmas wedding? I am having a Christmas wedding December 18th of this year! Christmas/winter inspired wedding pictures are welcome!! I need all the help I can get!
What colors are your going with? Traditonal red and green? or a more chic color like gold or silver?
one of my best friends got married December 19th last year.. Their favors were little Christmas ornaments! So cute!
I am having a winter wonderland wedding on 1/8/11!! I cant wait!! My colors are icy blue, white and silver. I made thank you notes recently... here is the color of the blue! 
I really really wanted a Christmas wedding. I have lots of ideas. You can use pinecones? Christmas lights in your flower's centerpieces?
Our colors are red, gold, ivory, and black...basically anything christmas...We're using blue mason jars in our reception because we already have a ton of them and want to cut costs.
Angeleri2bee: That's what we've decided to use as our favors too, ornaments.

My friend just had a Christmas themed wedding using tons of red and it was beautiful. She actually did a lot of shopping after Valentines day for her candy buffett, candle holders etc, as everything was on sale. Valentines day is coming up, so you should take advantage of that for sure! =) Good luck!!!
I never thought of using Valentines day decorations. That's a great idea!
We are doing somewhat of a christmas theme. We aren't using Christmas colors though. We are using pale pink and dark brown. We are going to use these centerpieces, except we are switching out the ornaments for pink and brown and putting a white pillar candle on top. Using both a short and tall one on each table and placing them on a mirror. The votive tree is our other centerpiece, we are replacing the red with clear votive holders and putting pink candles in them, possibly painting the trees white too. We are going to use a white christmas tree, with pink tree skirt and brown and pink ornaments for gifts to go under. We will have white christmas wreaths with brown and pink ornaments hanging on the door in the church and will move over to the reception.

I love this winter wedding on the Knot (have to register/sign in to see it). Her flowers and decor were a lot of white flowers and pine cones and silver accents.

I want to use alot of red but with Christmas-y elements like pinecones, holly, greenery, and berries.
I threw mistletoe bouquets to all my friends single or married for the toss plus we had Christmas trees at the reception that lots of people took group pictures in front of. Play some fun Christmas music too!

We're definitely having one christmas tree for the ceremony and one for the reception. I love christmas trees!
My wedding was December 19, 2009 and we did teal and claret. I have issues loading pics on weddingbee but if you want I can email you pics. Just PM me with your email address.
Our church had Christmas trees up in the sanctuary and fellowship hall and we made a red curtain to get married in front of (there was a tv to cover). Also, we made a few other decorations. Our programs were black and white with claret ribbons. My girls wore teal and had claret bouquets.

Im having a x-mas themed wedding! We are doing a tree in place of a gift table! This is my Board. I think we might be changing our colors to red green & gold tho to be able to use some of the stuff the venue supplies 
I love the idea of a tree instead of a gift table! I really want to ask people to bring us a Christmas ornament (so we can have the best and most meaningful tree ever), but I'm not sure how to do this without seeming rude or at least greedy.

I wanted to be a Christmas bride soooo badly, but FI vetoed "combining celebrations" and said that we'd be burned out on family gatherings if we have it over the holidays. I do kind of agree because it's nice to have something to look forward to for the summer.
For me, a christmas wedding is traditional. My grandmother had a christmas wedding and so did my mother, so I wanted to have on also.

Oh man I wish I would've already found a dress because I would so love to do a Christmas wedding! You could always get those mini trees that they sell at the dollar stores for centerpieces or additional decorations. I got one last year for 3 bucks! And I also got gold mini ornaments and mini lights and it only cost me 7 bucks! Now that would be a cheap centerpiece! LOL
