@sedela: google bonnie springs ranch - and look at their chapel
there aren't a whole lot of old, historic buildings in Vegas... when things get old, they blow them up! but here are a few places that you might be able to get the feeling your looking for in your photos.. you can find pics on google
1. the old Las Vegas High School (currently Las Vegas Academy)
2. old Post Office on Stewart Ave
3. the Little Church of the West (which is really a wedding chapel, but really cute and just across the street from the Vegas sign on the strip)
I am a local and went to Catholic school here as well LOL! The prettiest church I have seen thus far (interior wise) would be Guardian Angel Catherdral and St. Anne.

I am looking for a church in the Vegas area (within an hour or so) that would be beautiful for photos. In my head, I see photos being taken in front of an old church that appears to be abandoned with nothing else around it. I've seen tons of photos like this but I have been unable to find a location like this. Seeing as how I am not in the Vegas area, I cannot do this search on my own. If anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate it!
