My fiance’s aunt and my maid of honor are throwing me a Bridal Shower. I only invited family (mine and my fiance’s), friends, and my bridesmaids. I wanted to keep this tea kinda small.
But now my church that I’ve joined 2 years ago, wants to throw me a bridal tea. Since my first tea will be small, should I invite people I didnt ivite to the first one. Such as members of my old church, that have known me since I was a kid, and co-worlers.

Yes, I think that’s a great idea.

cnnj1008: Have they asked you for input on the guest list? If it’s just a tea and not a shower, you do not have to be concerned about inviting people not invited to the wedding.

For my church shower I invited church members and family members. But, my church shower was thrown by my BMs ( most go to my church), not by the church. Yours may strictly be for church members. I would ask them who they’re planning on inviting before giving them a guest list.
