I think most Catholic Churches allow for your fiance to get his pre marriage counselling where ever he is and you can get yours in LA. My bestie’s fiance is in Canada and that’s what they are doing. My brother’s fiance is in Africa and that’s what they are doing too. Ask your Priest. Good luck.

What if y’all Skye’d/ webcamed the marriage counselling? I would talk with your priest and see how willing they are to accomodate your situation. I personally don’t see why over the internet should be an issue, other then time zones:) Good luck!!!

I would talk to your priest. They may have a way for him to get his counseling where he is now, as others have suggested. Or you may get permission for a quick civil wedding for immigration purposes, followed by a larger Catholic celebration later.
