We didn't look at churches, so I don't know much, but I did hear good things about Northlake Unitarian Church in Kirkland. Not quite Seattle, but it's very close to the waterfront in Kirkland is is quite inexpensive to rent. It seems to me to be more of a church feel without having to go through all the usual channels for a church ceremony. It seats 200 and you can have both your ceremony and reception there.

My friend had her ceremony/reception at Northlake Unitarian Church; it was a couple of years ago but it was a great space and they let them bring in their own beer & wine. The space was great for both the ceremony and reception- she had it set up with long tables and then a big space for dance floor.

Hello Again!
We are still searching for a venue and would like to include churches in our list. I was wondering if any of you knew of any nice churches in the area that allow ceremony and reception on Saturdays. We are expecting about 200+ guests so it would need to be a church that can accommodate all.
I've found a couple of churches that only allow members or family of members to have weddings at their facility....which is very understandable but slightly frustrating =)....if you know of places or attend please do let me know!
We are protestant and are not limiting our selves to denomination.
Thank you!
