FH and I are considering offering a cider instead of a third beer selection at our wedding in 10 days!!
What is your favourite cider. Something in a bottle would be preferable, but if it only comes in cans we can deal 🙂
**ETA – our beer choices (right now) are Alexander Keiths (IPA) and Mill Street Stock (blonde ale) – both are Canadian beers and may be unfamiliar to those south of the border – we are open to suggestion there as well!!

MsGinkgo: Magners! (Bulmers in Ireland)
We fell in love with it when we vacationed there 🙂

Are you looking for a hard cider or a nonalcoholic cider?
My favorite hard cider (and a very strong favorite in my part o’ the woods) is Angry Orchard’s apple ciders. I personally greatly enjoy the original, but the Crisp one is pretty good too.

MsGinkgo: Favorite cider: Strongbow.

MsGinkgo: I’m really not a fan of ciders, but I don’t mind Strongbow. Not sure what other kind of beer you’re getting, but I sometimes get Strongbow and Harp Lager in a glass (sometimes called a Snake Bite) and it tastes pretty awesome!

Not sure where you are, but my husband and I love the Swedish brand “Rekorderlig” that you can buy at LCBO if you’re in Ontario. We prefer the elderflower version, as it’s not as sweet as the forest berries.

Strongbow is my go to cider. I would love that option for a spring or summer wedding at the bar!

eocenia: LOVE the elderflower personally, but I know it’s not everyone’s favourite.
jlc3: MichiganGirl24: Kili: Funny, I’ve never been a Stongbow fan but it seems to be popular!

I don’t know how far away they distribute, but local to me is Down East Cider. Yummy!

Bulmers is DELICIOUS. I also like Woodchuck ciders. And Angry Orchard. To be quite honest, I don’t think I’ve ever had a cider I didn’t like.

MsGinkgo: Isn’t it great?! I was so happy the day we found it at LCBO, reminds me of home! DH and I’ve brought it along for numerous summer parties, and it has always been very appreciated – so it might be worth a try! If you don’t like sweet, you can always go with beer instead.
Oh… why don’t you and your FI have a cider tasting? Perhaps with your bridal party? That could be so much fun!

MsGinkgo: Love Angry Orchard! I think that all of their flavors are good- and in the summer they have a seasonal Elderflower version! My favorite!
