For our wedding we are planning on doing personalized matches and cigars with personalized rings...in our case people know well enough by now that smoking is prohibited indoors, but they can take them home. I dont know if S. California, but there is no smoking anywhere in NJ basically.
loveandacademia-
where are you getting your cigars/matches from in phila? debating between that and having a roller, but i'm leaning towards the cigar bar because i've heard less than stellar things about the quality of the cigars rolled at events in the area... any feedback on that?
THANKS!
@kjwinter: We'll be ordering all of ours online, probably purchasing cigars in bulk, printing our own labels and DIY-ing it. The matches I'll be ordering from the knot shot because they are often on sale and if you are a member of Weddingbook on facebook (I think its called weddingbuzz now?) you can get a 10% off coupon code as well. We decided against the cigar roller mosly because of the cost--you are paying for the roller, a translator, AND all the cigars!? Too rich for my blood!
Most of our guests aren't cigar aficianados so I'm not too concerned with quality, but for our "Will you be my groomsman" gifts we had someone sneak in Cohibas on their latest trip to Cuba
Best of luck!

Hi Bees,
So Mr. iPhone and I will be having 2 cigar rollers at the reception. We will have some cigars already made to give to whatever guests would like to take some home. My question is, our wedding is in a city that has a strict no smoking outside ordinance so should we include a set of matches with our cigars? Mr. iPhone says no because we don't want to worry about guests smoking them outside and by not giving them matches it is clear that it is not meant to be smoked at the reception.
