Oh that sounds like so much fun! I wish we would have done that!!!
The setting for my wedding is a ballroom and outside of it is a huge foyer. So since the ballroom will be mostly tables, dancefloor and bars ... the roller would be positioned outside of the ballroom in that foyer.
My wedding planner said that if I have a cigar roller, that most of the men would be surrounding it and would never come in to dance etc.
So I guess that would be a problem. Problem #2 would be if the venue is non-smoking. You would lose everyone who smokes because they would all go outside.
i just read some of the other posts on cigar rollers. you are right mshymanroth. i think we will forgo it and just have cigars and scotch set out in our lounge area outside. from the other posts it seems that having a cigar roller was/could be fun, but then you don't get to smoke it right away because the cigars would be wet.
if anyone's still interested, one of the posters said they paid 325.00 for 3 hrs in miami. i'm going to guess that's the range anywhere else.
Yeah, be mindful too that if people have asthma or other lung problems, encouraging lots of smoking in their general vicinity isn't always the best idea.
