My fiance and I are searching for a unique wedding venue in the Cincinnati/Dayton area.
We have a few in mind but still are in the brainstorming phase and want to tour as many options as possible.
We are a casual type couple and are not interested in the cookie cutter banquet halls. We would like a place with interesting architecture/outdoor options/ or a view. However, I do like the idea of an all inclusive place, or a place that at least provides tables/chairs/etc.
To get an idea of our style we love Dixon Family Farm in Xenia, OH and Seraphim Ranch in West Union, OH.
Leave us comments about any places that you know of!!

My brother-in-law got married here:http://www.astonoaksgolfclub.com/
It’s a banquet hall, but there’s a waterfall outside, the food was really good, and I heard they were good to work with. Good luck!

- Wedding: May 2014 - Madison, WI
I used to live near West Chester, OH and this was a popular venue that includes chairs and tables for use with rental.

- Wedding: May 2014 - Muhlhauser Barn
@FutureMrsSlagle: I second Muhlhauser Barn — that’s where my FI & I are getting married next year. $1,000 rental (8am-midnight), chairs & tables included & everything else is a blank slate, which I love. Lots of hotel options nearby for guests that are staying after the wedding & most have free shuttles with so many rooms booked from your hotel block.

I just checked out Muhlhauser Barn, its very pretty!! Does anyone know of near by parks for ceremonies? I’m not sold on the gazebo and I would like to have lots of outdoor pictures.

@FutureMrsSlagle: Sharon Woods park is nearby for photos. It’s a beautiful park with a lot of neat visual features — lakes, bridges, waterfalls, etc.
Did you want to have your ceremony at a park, or just photos?
