Did anyone notice that one of the dresses is called "Petals in the Wind" Do you think she is referring to the VC Andrews book? I probably just aged myself. lol.

I Love Claire Pettibone gowns!! She was the only designer I was interested in when I started dress shopping. Unfortunately my mom thought they all looked like nightgowns on me so I moved on :( I still think her dresses are gorgeous and I love the vintage feel they have.

*wistful sigh* I'm in love with "geisha", especially since we're both artists, and having an indie/boheme wedding and Claire Pettibone's gowns would fit in perfectly. No way I could ever afford it, though - plus her gowns seem to be designed for smaller, flatter women than I.

They are lovely, though, aren't they?

WHY CLAIRE PETTIBONE WHY.

I tried on a whole slew of her BEAUTIFUL dresses, and I LOVE them, but they are just not right for my wedding. Seeing these breaks my heart! I will definitely at least be buying some of her lingerie for the honeymoon.

@sbeedesign - my fiance thinks they look like nightgowns too!

i think they are absolutely gorgeous, but they're out of my price range and not in the area, so i guess it's not meant to be. =(
