Hi! I am! I've been reading these boards for awhile and finally decided to join. I absolutely love all of Clarie Pettibone's dresses. She is so talented! I love your Rosa dress, it is so elegant. I am wearing Madame Butterfly and I am sooo excited to be wearing one of her dresses! I'd been eyeing them for years and it was a dream come true to order one! I don't know if I've ever seen more than one real-life bride in any one of her gowns. I'm sure there are more out there... but it does make me wonder how many gowns she sells each season. It is pretty special to have such a unique gown! What are your bridesmaids wearing? What kind of bouquet are you getting? I can't decide on either for mine!

Your dresses are gorgeous! I love Claire Pettibone. I thought I might be a Claire Pettibone bride until I tried some on, and they didn't work for my body at all (I looked like I was wearing nightgowns, so needed something less flowy/more structure). But every time I see one, I swoon. :)
@ wombat- i looove madam butterfly! that collection came out after i bought my dress.Did you see her new "tea for two" collection? My BM's are wearing red dresses of their choosing, and my bouquet is black mini calla lilies with "statement size" colored gems and feather accents. And here are my shoes. Her facebook page has a lot of real bride pictures, so you should friend request her. lol.
Her dresses do look nightgownish I agree, but that's what I kind of like about them. haha!
Hi all! It my first post
I have been in love with claire pettibone dresses forever! Her dresses as you all already know are unique, femenine and have amazing detail. So when i became engaged i knew CP would be it. I feel in love with 'Kristene" I actually cried. I am getting married in Puerto Rico near the rain forest this December. I thought a CP dresse would be perfect. I went to try my dress on for the second time after 6 months and i didn't feel like a bride. My dress has not arrived actually. It will be arriving in two weeks. I tried the sample on where i bought it. I still love the dress and it's gorgeous lace detail but i do not know what happened. I am devastated and i am searching for a new dress. For some reason i want to feel more bridal now. So i have to sell my dress. IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED>>I AM SELLING MY "Kristene' DRESS. Never worn. please let me know if you are interested.
LOVE pettibone. I'm really in love with the new JCREW dresses, but if those don't work for me in person, I am 100% going to a store that sells Pettibone.

Anyone wearing Claire Pettibone? I think everyone has left the board that was wearing one! haha-that's what I get for having an 18 month engagement. I'm wearing Rosa. I've never ever seen another bride in it and would love to.
