I have the 2 and love it. The higher speed is too much for my skin, so I’m glad there’s a lower one.

Great question!  I’m wondering which I should invest in as well.  Can’t wait to hear owners weigh in!  However, I worry that most people will have only tried one or the other and can’t give advice based on comparison…but I’d be happy to be proven wrong! 😀

I have the Mia with two settings and I only use it on the first one. I started using it too often so it made my forehead all bumpy (they call it purging, but I don’t believe in that), so I cut down to once every other day. Now I may use it once a month just because I don’t see any difference but it does make you feel clean!

I have the mia with one speed and I love it. I don’t regret it at all and think it works just as well

ETA: i use mine daily with no problems

I have the clarisonic classic, which I think is the second to the best.

It has two speeds. I don’t really feel like it’s all that necessary to have a stronger & softer speed, though.

If you have sensitive skin, just go for a softer brush head like the sensitive one or the acne one (because it’s soft but also suds a lot), & if you need a deeper clean, go with the regular brush head or the deep pore one.

I have the Mia 2 and I love it! I do use both speeds, I was nervous my skin would be sensitive to it, but it’s not AT ALL. I use it everyday, sometimes 2x and if I happen to skip a day here or there I bump it up to the higher speed. I only ever got 1 zit from it lol I don’t think I had much to purge b.c I never had any problems with zits, my skin is just super red and ruddy looking sometimes. It looks awesome ALL the time now I’m obsessed. I actually just ordered normal brush heads for it because I’ve been using sensitive and I don’t think I need it to be that sensitive, so we’ll see. I also like the timer on it. I would probably stay in each spot forever if it didn’t buzz to tell me to move on lol!

A PP was talking about little bumps, I believe they happen when you don’t change or clean your brush enough! One of my friends had the Mia and she didn’t change her brush head for WAY too long, just out of sheer forgetfulness and she got all these bumps, not zits, just like little bumps. She changed the brush and they went away in like 2 days.

I’m sure you would be happy with either one & I played with the idea of getting the 1 to save a little cash but fully decided on the 2 after a few weeks! My mom wound up getting it for me for my bday as a surprise tho which was awesome, I’m glad I asked her opinion 397234 times hahaha she probably just wanted me to stop asking her which one to get.

I have the Clarisonic Plus- I only got that one because I had a gift certificate to Sephora at the time.  In all honesty, I only ever use one speed so if you dont want to spend the $$ on the fancier one, don’t bother. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE mine, but I don’t need the bells and whistles and still get great results.  My sister has the 1 speed one and also loves it.

To add… what matters most IMO is that you replace the brush often enough.  You can buy them on Amazon, but sometimes Ulta or Sephora have sales on them.  I use the Acne brush- its a little softer than the original one which I like as my skin is a bit sensitive.
