I got one for Christmas and I think it is worth the investment. I got it because I was having breakouts on my face from working out. I think it really helps - it gives you a better cleaning then just using your hands and soapy water. Clean face = less potential for acne. In addition to helping with my breakouts, it has also made my face really smooth and minimized the appearance of my pores. If your interested in purchasing one, you can usually find good deals on ebay :)
Good luck!
I have had one for three years because I was reading tons of rave reviews but honestly I dont notice much difference on my face. It hasnt helped with the blackheads on my nose or with any other type of occasional acne. I do notice that if I stop using it then start using it again I break out a lot. I feel like it's a glorified exfoliator but thats just my 2 cents.
so i got mine about 2 years ago because i thought it would help with some cystic acne i was struggling with. BIG MISTAKE! not only did it not help my acne clear up, but it made it way worse... i was breaking out all over my face -i tried to stick with it thinking that the brush was just purging my skin but my skin never did calm down until i stopped using the clarisonic brush. i eventually had to go on accutane and have had great skin ever since. i'm terrified to try my clarisonic brush again because i'm worried i might break out again.
I just got one for Christmas, so I've only been using it a couple months, but I do feel like my skin has improved. I get multiple zits fairly regularly the week before my period, and I haven't had those since using the Clarisonic. I also have a fair amount of blackheads, and I've noticed a small improvement, but not huge. For me, it helps my dry skin, and it definitely makes my skin feel much smoother, which also helps my makeup go on easier. For me, there's been a lot of benefits, but I don't know if I would have bought one for myself had it not been a gift, since it's so expensive. You could also try out a lower-priced version, like the Olay one, to see how you like it.
@sassypants: I have to agree. I got my clarisonic about 6 months ago and have not noticed a difference at all. I have pretty clear skin but was really hoping that it would give it a nice even texture. Nope. Nothing much has changed although it does feel extra clean after I use it. But no visible difference.
Absolutely. It is a WONDERFUL product! Cleans your pores, helps heal breakouts, makes your other products work better. LOVE mine! I got a Mia for xmas 2 years ago and I just adore it.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE mine!!! Really gives a good cleaning feeling on the skin!
I received my Clarisonic for Christmas and I do like it, but I didn't have miraculous results by any means. It helps me thoroughly clean off any traces of my make up and it very slightly but not much helped with the texture of my skin. But probably only noticeable to me, to be honest. So, I do like it, but I don't think it's worth the price. Also, don't think that it is a serious exfoliator, because it isn't! I read that some woman get it for exfoliation and are very disappointed! I still use an exfoliating mask by Murad. It does little if any exfoliation. I also still get blackheads.
Women that have trouble getting all traces of their makeup off and break out because of that will love it! I'd ask for it for a gift, if you do get it!

I'm thinking about buying a Clarisonic. Anyone have personal experience with this device? I am especially curious about those of you who have moderate to severe acne, blackheads, bumps and other blemishes--have you used it and did it help? I've had acne my whole life and am so sick of all the medicines!! The pills and lotions my dermatologist gives me work great, but I have to take them religiously or the breakouts come back. Plus they are expensive and probably not healthy take all the time! Anyway, thinking about a Clarisonic and wondered what your experiences are. Please share. people seem to review them well online, but almost nobody mentions using it on an acne-prone face.
