@achele: I don't think they clash. If you're worried you can always incorporate silver and gunmetal accents throughout and then it will look more purposeful.
NOOO, dark gray and silver do NOT clash lol. That's like saying light blue and dark blue clash...not happening. I also don't think navy and black suits clash at all, I think navy and black is super classy. You can any variation of any of these colors, IMO. I want to do grey and navy and I love love love those colors together !
Dark grey and silver do not clash. They are of the same family, I don't see how they would clash. I agree that if you just tie in more silver and greys with your navy it will be stunning!
I I dont think it clashes at all.... The red carpet clashes a little haha... but the wedding party looks beautiful! :)
Thank you all so much!! While searching for hours I did find bridesmaid dresses that's are navy blue with a black sash around the midriff. I think we will be getting those dresses and they'll help tie in our colors. So black suits. Navy dresses. And silver accents! I'll put the flower girl and ring bearer in silver!! Okay bees, I need advice!! I have about 11 months until the big day. I thought that I had everything just about planned out. Then this:
We decided on the colors navy blue and silver for our Jan wedding.
Then I freaked out thinking the navy blue on the bridesmaids would clash with the black on the tux of the groomsmen. My solution: grooms in dark grey.
My SIL and MOH said the dark grey and the silver accents would clash so now I just feel stuck.
We are having a fifties theme and I LOVE the idea I've seen other brides do with the maids in different color dresses but I cannot bring myslef to do it. I still want the elegant matchy match stuff but I'm terrified of clashing colors.
Would the dark grey and silver really clash? What should I do? Suggestions please??
