I’m not – but there are lots of brides who go veil free for whatever reason – no worries hun!

I personally am not wearing a veil b/c I’m an encore bride but truthfully, I’d be afraid it would mar my eyesight and I’d trip and fall over stuff.

my best friend couldn’t stand hers and took it off before she went down the aisle.  She said she felt like she had a mosquito net stuck to her head 😉

I’m not doing the veil thing, not only am I clausterphobic, I just put one on as a dare by my bridesmaid (I refused to do the veil and dress!) and they were like OMG that’s so not you.

I was thinking I was the only one, but your post has kept me spirits up. I do think I’m doing a tulle/feather hairpiece, but nothing is going down my back or over my eyes at all! I would be flipping out even more then I know I will be doing 🙂

If I wear mine, it will go on the back of my head somehow, but right now I’m thinking it won’t really work with my hair.

I didn’t wear a veil because it just felt weird on my head.  I felt like it was too much and I just didn’t look like myself with it on.  I also somehow convinced myself that I would trip on it somehow (I don’t know how) and that I’d make an idiot of myself.

You aren’t the only one!  I just went to a wedding where the bride had on a blusher.  DURING the vows/ceremony, it kept snagging on and hitting her eye lashes.  She held up her hand and said hang on – she threw it over her head to the back, the BMs smoothed it and they went on.  It was cute, but I could tell she was really frustrated with it.  You made the right choice!
