I have been obsessed with clay flowers since I saw them on etsy a few months ago. I looked into it and felt like I might be able to do it. I bought some clay to see if I was even half way descent. I think that they came out pretty good for a first attempt.
I bought the stuff yesterday and here’s what I did…tell me what you think.

Those look great! If you have any books or find any links for making gum paste flowers you’ll probably find a lot of help there too. Although you look like you’re already an expert at it, so I don’t think you’ll need that 😉

Other than that I just looked at the clay flowers on etsy and got tried to mimic what they look like. I ordered a book that will hopefully show me how to make other flowers. Won’t be here until later this week though.
I am a teacher in the northeast so I am hoping for a snow day tomorrow so I can make more!
