Regular Dawn with hydrogen peroxide. It’s worked on every fabric I’ve tried it on w every stain I’ve seen (newborn poop, blood, red wine, chocolate, grass, etc.)

My personal favorite is to take a toilet bowl cleaner (the thick, gel kind), put 2 coats under the rim of the bowl (it will “leak” down). Wait 20-30 mins. Flush, and voila! No scrubbing!!!

SweetBeets :  I’ve never tried it with that, but I say you give it a go and tell us if it works! Then if it does, the next time I tell someone about this I’ll add “ink” to the list.

SweetBeets :  Hairspray takes pen ink out of fabric. I think it is the alcohol.

Magic Erasers

I stopped separating laundry by colors years ago. I wash clothing in cold. I may do a load of whites if I have enough, but otherwise they go in with everything else. No color bleedings.

The one I recently learned and was skeptical of was removing rust rings from the counter.  A bit of citrus juice and baking soda, set a few minutes and scrub off.  I was really pleased at the success as our counter was starting to look just awful (our own fault)

To get the hard grease stains out from things like cookie trays sprinkle them with baking soda and slowly pour vinegar over the whole tray and let soak for 10 minutes and your cookie sheets will look brand new 🙂

Agree about getting ink out with hairspray. I spilled toner all over my pants at work once and it took a little while but the whole stain disappeared and then I washed them with my next laundry load.

Use an old pillow case to clean ceiling fan blades. Put the pillow case over each blade and slide it off to get all of the dust bunnies so they don’t fly back into the air.
