I have not done it or heard of it being done, but if you have a shoemaker / cobbler in your neighborhood, maybe he would know?
If the bottom is vinyl maybe try some soapy water and a towel? If it's fabric I recommend going with a professional.

I agree with Lorienne- try a cobbler.
Otherwise, try taking them in to a dry cleaners.
I wouldn't try soap and water because you might wind up with water stains on the satin.

Hi all,
I have a pair of lovely ivory satin heels that I would love to wear on my own wedding day. The problem is, they are thong-sandal style and I wore them once to an outdoor wedding - so they a little dirty. You can see dirty toe-prints on them :( They are beautiful and I would love to wear them again! See the attached photo for a clean pair :)
I have heard it might be possible to get them cleaned. Has anyone ever done this? Did you clean your shoes yourself or did you take them in somewhere?
