I’ve been using the ClearBlue OPK Advanced digital thing for the last few months. It’s always worked as it should, empty circle for a temp least the first day, several days of flashing smileys, and the finally a solid peak fertility smiley. I also chart and my earliest ovulation date for the last year has been cd18. Today is cd11 so I started back to using them today. It’s a brand new pack so new reader. I got a solid smiley today. I was under the impression the first day would always be an empty “low fertility” circle while it got a base line reading, and its way to early for me to be getting a peak fertility reading. Now that it’s shown a solid, it also won’t let me test again for a few days. I pulled the stick out and both blue lines are bright blue, but I know that does not mean the same thing as non-digital OPKs so I’m really so confused by this.
Has anyone ever had weird readings? Maybe a faulty reader? I’ll check at home to see if I have an old reader from last cycle but I’m almost tempted to buy another box if I can’t do I can test again.
