I think it's always been like that, sorry!
I've been reading since June and the links on the blog commentators bring you to their blog, it's only on the boards that you can click to get someone's profile!
REALLY!? Have I JUST NOW noticed that for realz? Holy goodness.
I guess I'd prefer the message to be (profile) instead, since you can see their profile and also select to message them from there. I'll post it to the ideas.
Yeah that's been confusing me too! I've known that it DID that, but it's always frustrating to me cause I'm usually trying to get to their profile!
It's been that way on the blogs as long as I've been here! It can be a little confusing. :) I'll vote for your idea if you post it!
I'm going to go second that idea because I could have sworn it hasn't always been like this. Maybe I'm confusing the two. Who knows. I also think it would be nice when someone clicks on your name in the boards that it goes to your profile, not your boards tab. Mr. Bee said the engineers want it to be like that eventually, but....it hasn't happened yet.
Woah, I didn't know that! I had been wondering why so many of my referrers to my blog were from bee's posts. It all makes sense now!
I also was thinking it wasn't always like that... usually after I left a comment I would click my name to go to my profile and check on the posts I recently commented on for replies. Today when i did it it went to my blog. I don't remember it ever doing that, but - I can't say I definitely HAVE clicked thru my comment to my profile before with 100% accuracy, I just THINK I have.

I never knew why my name shows up in grey instead of as a link .... I guess it's because I dont' have a blog listed on WB, eh!?

Ok I feel so out of the loop with the changes to the 'bee...
I noticed just now that in the blog, if you comment, your name (ex: me = kjpugs) takes readers to your website (ex: me = my blog) when clicked. I don't see a way to get to a commenter's profile though from the blog.
In the boards, clicking the username gets to that user's profile.
Can someone explain this? I clicked a commenter's name wanting to see something in her profile and couldn't get to it!!!! Boo! I'm not sure I like this. Maybe a link next to the username (like {visit profile}) would be better.
