I use Dove Clinical Deodrant....a couple years ago I found regular deodrant just wasn't cutting it, so I tried Dove Clincial. It works really well and comes in a couple different scents.
I've had success with Drysol in the past. I had major sweat problems through my teens and this did a pretty good job!
I sweat a lot. Even my nose sweats! Seriously! I use Secret Clinical Strength and love it. I just recently bought their "waterproof" one and didn't like it as much as the regular kind. I bought it because I liked the smell, but regret it now because it doesn't seem as potent as the original.
I used the Dove Clinical strength for awhile. I liked it, but it was way too expensive and I ran out of it much faster than stick deodorant. I went back to regular Dove deodorant and can honestly say it barely makes a difference to me.
I switch between the Secret Clinical and the Dove Clinical.
I saw a few posts about a week ago and ladies were recommending CertainDri and Drysol (http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/best-deodorant-antiperspirant-for-wedding). I'm thinking of trying the CertainDri if I can find it around here.
CertainDri works like a MFer, but oh my god does it ITCH during the first couple of weeks! You're supposed to apply it at night before you go to bed, but the itching was so bad I couldn't get to sleep. My sister swears by it, and she says the itching stops after a couple of weeks, but I could never get through the itchy stage so I gave up. I know it works for a lot of people, so it's worth a try. You'll probably have better luck than me.
I've used CertainDri here and there and yes it does itch but it only bothers me for a few minutes...I've heard it itches because it's causing your pores to constrict and shrink so they don't sweat as much, which I've read isn't always a good thing since your body NEEDS to sweat. But I still use it once in a blue moon at night and then use regular deodorant in the morning. I've been wanting to try the Secret Clinical strength stuff but sheesh - $8 for a tiny thing of deodorant...not sure I want to spend that money
I use the Dove Clinical Strength stuff at night and then a regular Secret one during the day. I do tend to sweat a lot at times for no real reason--my endocrinologist said it's probably thyroid-related (like everything else that my wonky body does), so this has been the best combination for me so far.
