Weddingbee boards

We are looking at getting married nxt Spetember. I am looking at a very simple dress with a sash . It will be an outdoor wedding. I always loved the way a full length cloak looks,  so I was thinking about wearing it over the dress when I started 'down the isle' and then having someone take it off  right before I started going down the stairs to where the guests are ( i would be coming out of the house and onto a beautiful wooden deck in then decending onto the yard where the guests will be). I am thinking the cloak will be made out of a very light see throughish material. What do you think? Do you think it is too much? The wedding is in TX

 If you do it with a see through material, might it come out looking like a cape? (Like, a super-hero cape?)

I must admit I'm not sure what the difference is... I have seen photos of winter brides with a cloak with a hood... Which I thought was a really nice touch for winter. 

Would you be too warm with a cloak in Sept in TX?

it would have a hood on it.  I would be making it with a lighter material, so it wouldnt be bad at all. Was just wondering what other ppl thought of the idea.
