I conceived on my second cycle of 50mg of comid (taken days 3-7), after trying to conceive naturally for 10 months (and only ovulasting ONCE on my own!). Heads up, when they say it ups your chances of conceiving twins they mean it! Currently 36 weeks with boy/girl twins! Good luck

@peachbaby4008:  So glad you started this thread. I’m currently on cycle day24 on my first round of clomid (days 4-8) and I want to stay as hopeful as possible. FX for both of us!

@Hartsj9:  Big congrats to you!! I thought the chances of twins were only 5-7% on Clomid…do twins run in your family? Having one of each is awesome!

i conceived my no 1 with 150g clomid, after 3 rounds with the first time with 50g.

As for no 2,i tried 100g & 150g clomid and my eggs did not grow. so was put on metformin and 200g clomid. at the moment, i am testing a faint positive.

@peachbaby4008:  My doctor started me on 100mg actually, I think because I’m 25lbs overweight.

if this helps, i drank alot of grapefruit juice before ovulation and ate folic acid, royal jelly and Coq00 for this cycle. Apparently clomid dries up ECWM,Grapefruit counters that!so drink up!

@fifteenmay:  So it took you 3 rounds each time, right? That is encouraging to hear, if our first two rounds end in BFN.

Congrats to you again!!

After over 1 yr of unexplained infertility, had one month of clomid that was unsuccessful.  I ovulated a 18mm follicle and did IUI, but no luck. The next month my doctor switched me to letrozole. That month I ovulated 2 mature eggs, both over 20mm. We didn’t do IUI, just sex au natural. Currently 29 weeks pregnant with boy/girl twins!  despite knowing the increased risk for multiples, we never thought that would actually happen to us. Now, we are ecstatic to have a little boy and a girl on the way!

Clomid Success Story here!!! We were ttc for 4 months, and it turns out I was not ovulating in any of them.

And now, BAM- first round of clomid and I got my BFP at 14DPO today!!! I am shocked and elated.

FX for all the bees with PCOS, I know how scary and intimidating it seems, but clomid can truly be a miracle drug!!

Good luck to you!! Clomid side effects are no fun, but SO worth it!! 🙂
