There are SO many options out there. Prefolds, all-in-ones, all-in-twos… oh boy. My biggest advice is to do some research and find out which option you feel is best for you.

For my DD I chose all-in-one pocket diapers, we use Rumparooz. They are fantastic! We bought a stash of 25, I also picked up a couple of cheap Alvas (more because I got a little obsessed and wanted more cute patterns).  We have more than enough, she goes through about 6-8 per day and she’s almost 3 months.

Yeah, there are tooooons of choices – I’ve done a lot of research because I plan to use cloth.  I would recommend going to Youtube and searching for “cloth diapering.”  There are a lot of videos explaining the differences between the different types and showing how they are used.  I’m also sort of obsessed with the Assunta diaper store – all of the reviews I’ve seen say that the quality is fantastic, they’re a lot cheaper than big name brands, and the proceeds go to a good cause (an orphanage in China that cares for disabled and dying children – the store is run by American ex-pats who work with the orphanage).

We primarily use BumGenius 4.0 pocket diapers. We have 30 and usually wash every 2-3 days.

We bought Kawaii, but haven’t used them yet.  DD needs to be a little heavier.

nutMeg13:  There are so many options! I prefer all in ones, but also use pockets and fitteds (fitteds with wool cover for nighttime are bulletproof for us). I am obsessed. It’s ridiculous. I have probably 50, which is way more than I need. I love them, though! I have a mixed stash, but my favorites are bumgenius, ragababe, and the diapers I make myself. 🙂
