Wow. Beautiful venue! Hrm rustic could be a great theme. For whatever reason I’m envisioning white or silver hanging lanterns with lots of flowers! I don’t think Im very helpful, but I think the venue itself is quite pretty and you don’t need to do too much. Just remember less is more sometimes!

Does the venue have any pictures from other weddings that you could get inspiration from? When we booked our ceremony and reception venues they had a photo album we could look through.

It is so lovely it hardly needs many decorations. Why have a theme? what about having navy, silver and white and just doing ‘simple chic’ as your theme, clean lines simple arangements just plain elegant and perfect. I am picturing white table clothes with white chair covers navy napkins silver plates/flatware, and silver vases with simple white flowers and white candles. It would be such a timeless look and would go well with the wood, I love the previous posters idea about the white lanterns for the deck.

Simple, modern, elegant, easy.

I honestly don’t think a theme is absolutely necessary. You have your colours picked out, so go with that. I hadn’t even heard of wedding “themes” before coming on WeddingBee lol.

Do you have to have a “theme”?  Can’t you just pick things that you like that fit with your color scheme?  I suppose eclectic is kinda a theme if you like lots of different types of things.  I don’t like things to be too matchy matchy though and like @FutureMrsTimmins, I’d never heard of themed weddings before coming to this site.  Well, I’d heard of them, but thought they were only for magazines and Disneyland and nobody really did them.  I feel like I’m missing something again, as I so often do these days lol

My colors are blue and silver also! (we are have a Pittsburgh Penguin them but obviously that won’t work for you lol).

I don’t really see the need for a theme, especially if you didn’t have one in mind or can’t think of one. Just use those colors as your “theme.” Use blue and white flowers with silver accents.

Drape the tables in blue/white/silver linens and runners.

Use blue/silver candles.

Get some blue/silver jewels or sparkly confetti or lights.

Have your bridal party wear blue with silver accents or vice-versa.

See if you can find someone to do lighting, if it’s in your budget.

Color alone can do A LOT to a space, no theme required!

I immediately thought of the Titanic.  I know, I know.  Go with me here: twinkle light strings draped along the ceiling, warm lighting, with blues and silvers everywhere (silver will really catch the lights and reflect them), luxurous fabrics, gloves.

Just saying, it could be a thing.  I could really see that place all decked out like it was the Titanic.

Don’t worry about what actually happened to the titanic.  Maybe your theme could be: The Titanic, If It Never Left Land.

See my choices.  Start small – with the table.  Try out a couple of schemes before you buy bulk of one style.  And you have the freedom of mixing up to 3 different looks as long as they are related.  You may want to speak to a florist first, pick your flowers (have them do a mock up) and then match up to table linens.  Blue over white with added silver beading is great and whatever arrangements you choose, will look lovely.  You can also get mercury (silver) votives or other similar styles to surround your flowers, add mirror chips or mirror base for more sparkle.  pizzaz the chair with blue and white sashes and add a bright blue feather before you make a bow or knot.

Invest in some silver diamond wrap for your centerpieces, cake and other accessories.  You could also add blue feathers to your centerpieces or bouquets.
