Personally - - I am a same/similar material gal becuase I want the colors to look as close as possible. Sometimes when they're different materials the black isn't as black, or its lighter...I don't know...I am doing a dress in the same color same fabric availble in 15 different styles.......
jackie-o - the dresses you are getting in the same color and fabric with 15 different styles sounds like what I need. Where are these dresses?

When having mismatched bridesmaids dresses of the same color....do they have to be the same material to look right? Should you have all satin or can you have a mixture and still look put together? My bridesmaids are wearing black dresses but its harder than I thought to find them all in satin. I want them to look put together and not completley different, no patterns or anything but I do want different styles. What is your take on this bees????
