I tried this dress on and it’s so stunning…I can’t imagine it needs an ornate viel of any kind but it’s so cathedral worthy…that I probably would have considered a plain cathedral legth viel for this one..without a blusher and I probably wouldn’t have gone for too many layers/tiers…probably a single or double at most.

I think you should try on all styles though. When I finally decided on a dress I got tunnel vision on viels, I thought only a fingertip length would do because that’s what they put on you once you start trying on dresses….but then I changed my mind later and tried some chapen legth and cathedral lenght and I felt way more formal and elegant in those.

Try them all!!

Hello… we are Petunia twins, and very close to being wedding date twins!! 🙂 MIne is on the 12th oct!!

I have been thinking about what veil to wear too, but my dress doesn’t arrive until aug, so have now considered maybe just a hair piece instead.

I did try a couple of veils, but I didn’t want it to cover the beautiful train detail of the dress, but I guess a simple single layer one will prob sit nicely.

I always loved the idea of a cathedral veil, as I find them so romantic, but when I did put it on I just felt I was too covered by layers so decided it wans’t the right one for me! 🙂

Have you got any photos of you in the dress with different veils? LOve love to see some photos, the wait is driving me crazy!! I haven’t got any photos from when I ordered it, so just have to wish the next 2months away so I can finally try it on again!

Happy planning, let me know what you go for in the end 🙂

Beautiful!  I think you should do a chapel/cathedral simple veil with this gown.
