I like their non-branded stuff- the one you picked is lovely! I think their leather is top quality for sure, but maybe if you stalk it for awhile you can get a better deal? I’ve seen coach discounts on Gilt Groupe, and you can wait for a web promotion, just join their mailing list. Itd be a lot easier to stomach for 300ish Im sure.

lovekiss:  I’m a big fan of Coach, so I’m obviously going to say it’d worth the money! They hold up really well. I’ve never stopped using a Coach bag before because it was worn out. Go for it!

Definitely worth the money!  You’re in MD if I remember correctly – have you been to the outlets on Route 1 (Ocean City/Rehoboth/Bethany direction?) They have a Coach outlet with fantastic discounts.  Check them out!

I have 2 leather legacy duffles and they are seriously worth every penny. I get compliments on them regulary. I strongly dislike the branded items and the outlet stuff isn’t the same quality as their regular line.

I use to love coach. I really think they have ruined the brand though. Everything goes to the outlet and Everytime I go in there they seem to be running half off and I can’t seem to even find anything I like even at half off. Lol. I do love the wristlets cause you can pick them up so cheap! I do think the quality is good and if you like it bag then I don’t thinks it’s a waste spending money on a good bag. The brand is just eh to me now.

lovekiss:  go to coachfactory.com they’re major discounts. You have to sign up and they’ll email you when the bags are available for purchasing. I’ve got all my coach bags from there.

Every coach bag I have ever owned has held up beautifully so yes if I was actually willing to spend that much on a bag I’d say they are worth it.

As it is, I pretty much only shop sales at the Coach Outlet LOL

I haven’t owned a Coach bag in years, but have to say I like the direction Coach is going in lately.  The bag you picked is beautiful, and has classic lines that will never go out of style.  I think the quality and service you get at that  price point makes for a very decent value.
