Michael Buble! He's a modern-day Sinatra. His CD's have a contemporary jazz feel and most of his songs are pretty upbeat.

How about some flamenco or Gipsy Kings? You can also play some Buena Vista Social Club.
Check out this album called Rhytms del Mundo. Its a collection of great hits from U2 and Coldplay mixed with latin rhythms. We are playing that version of Clocks at our cocktail hour.

So after considering everything, I think our best bet is to have our venue pipe music into the cocktail hour area. It's logistically almost impossible to have the reception DJ set up for it. The venue is happy to do this if we provide just a few CD's (2 or 3) that are easy for the staff to change. Doubting that I'll have time to make mixes before next weekend, I thought I'd ask. Anyone have suggestions for good cocktail hour mix CD's? Something upbeat, probably jazz...or maybe something latin?
