I think without the date is fine. Then if you have any left over, you can re-use them at later date without them obviously being your "wedding" cocktail napkins.

Never ever did I think I would ever be convcerned about cocktail napkins!
I want to get personalized napkins for our cocktail hour. Just a simple initial monogram, with our first names underneath. Simple. The question is, is it ok to do without the wedding date? I like the look of just our names.
I know its our wedding, and we can choose what we want. I just want to see what some others say. All the ones I've seen have the date. What do ya think? Ok without the date? Yay or nay?
Thanks bees!
