That sounds awesome! We’re having a cocktail reception and our food isn’t nearly as heavy (no stations/mashed potato bars) but everyone (DOC, reception space manager, friends, family) has told me it’s plenty, so your arrangment should be good!

@ReneeNycole:  OMG sounds amazing! And I wouldn’t even really consider this just a “cocktail” reception by any means. By proving the carving station and action stations it’s just much more like a buffet! And it’s certainly a full meal. And now I’m hungry!!!

Your menu sounds delicious, and, based upon everything you plan to serve, I think you easily will be providing the equivalent, volume-wise, of a meal.  The only thing that I think you may want to consider adding would be some meat and/or seafood (meatballs, Italian sausage, shrimp, or chicken — or some combination thereof) to your pasta station.

Sounds like plenty of food!

The only thing lacking is vegetable side dishes. You have the salad, but maybe add in broccoli to the pasta station?

@ReneeNycole:  Your menu looks awesome! I’d love to go to a wedding like that… I’m a grazer for sure. The only thing I’d add in would be some fresh vegetable or fruit sides. I know you have salad on there, but even a cooked veggie kebob would be tasty. Just one more choice.

@ReneeNycole:  This sounds amazing! As does your wedding! What a treat a double decker bus tour? How awesome!

That sounds delicious! As a guest I would definitely be satisfied with those options. Your double decker bus tour and “cocktail party” reception sound really fun!

This sounds about a thousand times better than most wedding food I’ve had.  I would pretty much only eat appetizers all the time if I could, so this sounds amazing.

That all sounds awesome! From the Las Vegas bus tour to the wedding in a suite with couches – I like it! The menu definitely has a lot of variety and looks good BUT it’s all very heavy. Besides the salads, it’s all carbs and meat and so it’d be good to maybe replace one or two of the appetizers with a lighter veggie app. You don’t necessarily need 2 chickens and a pork, I’d just remove the tenders and do a non-Cajun chicken satay that the kids can be okay with, and might remove the pork all together. Careful having a bunch of spicy too, it doesn’t fit most palettes (unless all your guests are from the Southwest). And I know you have the calzone and spanakopita, but those are still more carb than veggie, I wouldn’t count them as veggie appetizers.
