I am starting to seriously look at bridesmaid dresses, and am, of course, running into trouble. I want to keep it pretty cheap, under $200, but everything in that range is so boring and/or looks like a prom dress. Since my bridemaids are both 40, I’d kind of like to avoid the cheap stretch satin look and get something a bit more sophisticated. At this price, you can imagine this is a challenge!
Anyway, I’ve been looking at Coco Myles, and they appear to be the answer to my prayers–they have fairly sophisticated designs at rock-bottom prices. Of course this leads me to wonder if the quality is miserable.
Does anyone have experience with them? (cocomyles.com)

I’m sorry I don’t have any experience with that company. I did want to ask if you had looked at Bill Levkoff’s dresses. They are all really nice, and would be age appropriate for your bridesmaids. These dresses are a lot more elegant than some brands out there. My girls paid under 200 for theirs, so I just wanted to throw that out there as an option.

Try Mrs. Butterfly’s old entries! She had rave reviews of them. =)

I’m considering cocomyles as well. I emailed them and asked for a few fabric swatches. They emailed me back with in 5 minutes! I got the swatches a few days ago. I want to show them to my MOH because I don’t knwo much about fabrics. They look pretty nice to me though…..

I will defintiely email them for swatches!
Thanks for the suggestion of Bill Levkoff, Melanie–I had thought they would be too expensive for us, but we will look at them again.

I wore a cocomyles dress as a BM in a friend’s wedding. They were easy to alter and true to size. I can send you a picture of it. The quality is okay, nothing out of this world but it definite isn’t horrible.
